A cellar grows one bottle at a time, and soon nobody remembers what is in the back of the fridge, which rack the 2015 is in, or whether it is already past its best. Spreadsheets are tedious, and most wine apps are really marketplaces. Wine Cellar Manager is just your cellar.
How it works: point the camera at a label. Producer, wine and vintage are read on your device, and region, grapes and a drink window fill in behind the scenes. Tap a free slot in your rack to place the bottle. When it's time, the Drink now list tells you, and your tasting note rolls up to the wine.
Built natively for iPhone, iPad and Apple silicon Macs. No sign-up, sync through your own iCloud, and export everything whenever you like.
Producer, wine and vintage are read from the photo on your device in seconds. Batch mode scans a whole case now and lets you confirm later, and barcodes find wines you've added before.
Racks, fridges and cases with a visual grid of rows and slots. Place, move, drink, gift or sell a bottle in two taps. Every change can be undone, and each wine keeps its full history.
A drink window for every bottle, estimated from appellation, grape, region and vintage, which you can override. Drink now, Ready soon, Hold and Past peak lists, plus a reminder when a window opens.
100-point score and stars, body, tannin, acidity and your own words, with photos, food pairing and who was there. Notes roll up to the wine, so you see how it evolves bottle after bottle.
Cellar value, spend per year, bottles by type, region and vintage, bought versus consumed, and what you should drink this year.
Instant search across producer, wine, region, grape, vintage and notes. iPad split view with a sortable table and keyboard shortcuts, the same app on Apple silicon Macs, widgets and Siri.
Import CSV exports from CellarTracker, Vivino, InVintory or any spreadsheet, with a column preview before anything is saved.
No account. Sync through your own iCloud, automatic backups with one-tap restore, and CSV export with photos at any time. Label photos never leave your device.
Pure Swift 6 and SwiftUI on top of a shared CellarKit package. Labels are read with Vision text recognition and VisionKit barcode scanning on the device. A heuristic parser backed by a Wikidata-derived catalogue of grapes, regions and appellations fills the fields, and on devices with Apple Intelligence the on-device Foundation Models framework structures the label.
Elsewhere, an optional zero-dependency Cloudflare Worker receives only the recognized text (never the photo) and returns structured fields through Claude, with a per-device monthly quota. Bottles, locations and notes live in SwiftData and sync through the user's private CloudKit database. Stats are drawn with Swift Charts, widgets use WidgetKit, Siri uses App Intents, and Cellar Pro is verified with StoreKit 2.
Monthly, yearly with a 7-day free trial, or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Free covers a starter cellar. Cellar Pro is for collectors.
Your bottles, notes and photos stay on your device and in your own private iCloud. Label photos are read on the device. No account, no analytics, no ads, no marketplace.
